Off & Running!
Last year ended off with a bang for Don Sawchuk finishing his tour schedule with a sold out concert at Heritage Hall in Guelph, Ontario followed by a trip to perform for the kids at Montreal’s Shiners Hospital for Children. En Route Don stopped off at a few radio stations namely CJBQ, Belleville delivering his new CD “Underdog” to legendary radio personality Sean Kelly (PD) who was on the air and sounding great!! He also dropped off his complete album package to noted Intelligencer Music Reviewer David Reed along with the song book and some digital download cards. Next stop was Brockville where we had a chance to meet the newly appointed Music Director Wendy Wright (photo inset) at JR FM then onward to Montreal for a Noon Hour Presentation at the Shriners Hospital for Children. It was a jam packed day and on the way home we stopped in at CJSS Rock in Cornwall and met a young fellow who let us in and shared a few words of wisdom. It was a long day and a late night but well worth the effort. We want to thank everyone we met and say a big thank you to “Noble” Joe Johnson Press Corp’s Director and Editor In Chief Rameses Shriners and the newly elected Oriental Guide. Congratulations Joe from all of us!
